As the School Counselor, you will be the primary advocate for our students' emotional and psychological health. You will work at the vital "bridge" between academic life and mental wellness, ensuring every student has the tools to navigate their holistic learning journey with resilience and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Individual & Group Support: Provide confidential, short-term counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
SEL Leadership: Collaborate with Homeroom Teachers to enhance the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the "Archers Way" of nurturing the whole child.
Crisis Intervention & Prevention: Develop and implement proactive mental health initiatives and provide immediate support during critical incidents.
Parent & Faculty Partnership: Act as a specialist resource for families and staff, leading workshops on child development, emotional regulation, and well-being.
Requirements
Requirements
Education: Master’s degree in School Counseling, Child Psychology, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of counseling experience within an international school environment.
Licensure: Valid professional certification or license to practice counseling.
Mindset: A compassionate, optimistic professional who believes that mental well-being is the foundation for all academic success.
